Pro-Act Brings
Virus-Reducing Air Cleaner to the Northeast
Warren, RI, November 18, 2009 --- Pro-Act, a biotech company
with a focus on environmental systems, introduces LeVOCC™, an indoor
air purifier that is proven to reduce mold, bacteria, viruses and
more.
LeVOCC™ is not an air filter; it is a patented UV-activated
catalytic system that thoroughly scrubs the air as it passes through
the machine, destroying pollutants. Furthermore, LeVOCC™ does not
produce ozone.
Independent laboratory testing was performed to evaluate the
effectiveness of LeVOCC™ to reduce bacteria (Bacillus), mold and
fungus (Stachybotrys, Botrytis), formaldehyde and ammonia. The

above named air contaminants. Recently, studies were carried out to
test the effectiveness of the LeVOCC™ against H1N1 virus.
Independent tests showed that the LeVOCC™ system successfully
destroys a strain of the H1N1 virus. In testing conducted under
controlled conditions, the H1N1 virus was completely eliminated
following 30 minutes of operation of the LeVOCC™ unit.*
